We’re Will and Kassie Hardy – a creative couple that has lived full-time on the road while building remote careers that let us work from anywhere. Indie Intrepid is our way of sharing what we’ve learned along the way: the travel guides we wish we had starting out, the tools we actually use to run our businesses, and the mindset shifts that make this lifestyle sustainable in the long term.
Kassie is a digital marketer, website designer, and photographer who’s worked with everyone from global brands to independent creators with her agency, Nordover Creative. She grew up between southern Spain and Texas, and full-time travel has always felt more like home than staying in one place.
Will is a software engineer from Washington state with a background in cloud computing and AI, and has worked as a contractor in the insurance sector. He’s the brain behind our systems – and the one who’s always ten tabs deep researching our next destination. He also runs his own YouTube channel for his music.
Together, we’ve been slow-traveling for over three years while working remotely and building business to prioritize freedom, creativity, and autonomy. We’re pros at working in cafés across Europe and troubleshooting Wi-Fi in the medinas of Morocco. We’ve learned a lot about travel, but also about how to build a life that actually works with and for you.
We believe freedom isn’t something you wait around for, it’s something you consciously choose and build, one decision at a time. We’d rather travel slowly and intentionally than rush through experiences we won’t remember. For us, strong Wi-Fi and soul alignment carry equal weight – and neither is optional. We’re not here to perform or pose as “gurus.” We’re here to connect honestly, share what’s real, and invite others to do the same.
